Boarding and Pet Sitting Services Include following your pet care routine which includes walking, giving fresh food and water (Our BOARDERS get bottled water!), exercising, litter box cleaning (pet visits only) picking up outside after your pooch if necessary and giving any medications your pet may require. We also spend, what we call quality time with your pet just playing, petting and loving and lots of personal attention WE PET SIT FOR: DOGS, CATS, BIRDS/PARROTS, HORSES, RABBITS, FERRETS, TURTLES, HAMSTERS, AQUARIUM & POND FISH, CHICKENS, GOATS AND PIGS WE BOARD: DOGS, BIRDS/PARROTS, RABBITS, TURTLES, HAMSTERS AND FISH. Inn Our Home Boarding Clients bring their own bedding, food and toys so they will feel comfortable as well as any medications. We use our own sterile stainless steel water/food dishes, but you can bring yours if you wish. Your dog will stay in his/her own 12 x 12 A/C bedroom with TV and/or Stereo and Ceiling fan. ALL BOARDERS RECEIVE BOTTLED WATER!) They
also get to roam the house with us too. We have plenty of land so they can really stretch
their legs! NO CAGES (Unless you are crate training your
dog).
YOUR PET WILL LOVE THE COUNTRY AND THE ONE-ON-ONE-ATTENTION! We understand and know your pet is your "baby" and is very much your "child" to you. They are to us as well. We spend one-on-one
attention with your pup & we probably take our boarders out too many times, but the more the better. Most
of our boarders are able to run free on our front yard property (which is approx. 3 1/2 acres and entirely fenced) with
our "constant" supervision. We have a total of 5 acres of land all fenced and cross
fenced so they can stretch their legs! We don't just let them go out by themselves and we do NOT have doggy doors
in their rooms. We personally go out with them several times during the day. We make sure
they "go". We do not want your pet to be uncomfortable at any time. They should be able to come back
into the house with us without a problem. The last time they go out would be somewhere between 10 and 11 PM. They
can join us outside as we spend a lot of time outside in the yard landscaping and when we are in the house they
would have the "run" of the area we are in. We alternate free time with other "guests". At
NO time will they be crated unless requested. They will have one on one attention with us. We normally do not "mix" different
client's dogs with each other outside or inside. When not eating or sleeping in their room, they can actually spend time with
us in our own home, either inside while we do office work etc. or with us while we do work outside. We are very proud
of our grounds and have put a lot of time into the landscaping and environment that we give to your pet. We want them to enjoy
themselves here. UNLIKE many other facilities we do not charge extra for play time or fun time or supervised attention. So, while you enjoy your vacation, and are relaxing knowing your pet's are in GREAT hands, let 'em have their own vacation and fun in the country at A AAA KINDRED SPIRITS PET BOARDING & SITTING!
Pet Sitting Encompasses a 30 min to 1 hour visit. With dogs we take them out to relieve themselves, bring them back in, feed them, then out again. (You may find OTHERS who only stay 30 minutes and charge extra for every "extra" 15 minutes). We feel that at least a 45 min. stay is required especially for dogs to relieve themselves, eat and then go out again. We stay and wait till they "go". With cat sitting we of course, feed them, clean the litter box and give them water and play time! We really enjoy interacting with all animals and of course GIVING LOTS OF LOVE & ATTENTION takes some time too! NOTE: With In Your Home Visits we must visit your dog at least twice a day unless you have a doggy or kitty door or other arrangements. We generally visit cats 1-2 times per day. We believe your pet needs this interaction to be emotionally comfortable in your absence as so many things could happen in 24 hrs.
DISASTER SHELTERS: Two Hurricane Dome Shelters and a Whole House 35000 watt Generator are on the grounds in case of an emergency or natural disaster. They are made of solid concrete 8" walls and can we are told through FEMA they will withstand up to 320 MPH winds. Should a hurricane or Tropical Storm threaten the area (which may be accompanied by tornadoes) we will take all pets currently boarded at our home into the shelters for their safety. Our home and grounds are also protected with a whole house generator. Should the electric go out, our propane gas generator will kick in. Our home also has hurricane shutters as well as impact resistant doors and glass on our new addition.
Home Watch Services INCLUDED WITH PET SITTING. We'll bring in your mail/newspaper, alternate lights, open/close curtains/blinds, water up to 5 plants, all to give your home that lived-in look. Janet used to be a certified Fl. Horticulturist and can take great care of your plants while you are away. (All free during pet sitting visits).
Ready Key Program For PET SITTING VISITS: The convenience of making your future reservations by picking up the phone without us making an added trip to your home to pick up the key. (99% of our customers use this).
Meet N' Greet For BOTH Pet Sitting and Boarding: must be scheduled with you and your pet(s) prior to your departure. This FREE initial meeting is by appointment only and is required before reservations can be confirmed and to firm up arrangements and complete the Service Agreement. We do meets for boarding at OUR home and for sitting at YOUR home. We do these meets ahead of time so we can all meet and get to know one another. For Boarding we try to limit our meet n greets for Tuesday or Thursday with your dog(s). We have a limited amount of rooms which get reserved quickly during the summer as well as in season. ( Our SouthWest Florida Season is considered Novemeber - March) In that regard, we require 1/2 deposit to reserve and guarantee the room. This is usually done at the meet n greet. For PET SITTING MEETS at your home we can also pick up a copy of your key at this time. We don't like to set up either meet n greet too far ahead of your trip. Usually no more than 4 weeks prior to your departure is good.
Also,
we do NOT take constant barkers or dogs that can not stay by themselves through the night in their own bedroom and bark all night.
Their door to their room is open but with a gate up. The interview is not just for you to
check us out but for us to meet n greet your pup, check their demeanor and disposition etc. This way, we will know if we all
get along and just in case it isn't a match, it gives you the time to locate another place to board them in time for your
departure. In that regard, we ask that you can vouch that your dog is not a big time barker or whiner through the night.
I'm sure you can understand this as the dogs are in our own home where we sleep as well and also we have other "guests"
in other rooms that need their beauty rest! :)  Additional activities:
A deposit is needed so your dog's room is reserved and waiting for him or her. Also it would be nice to know if they will be
needing any tee-off times made or sightseeing tours other than the usual squirrel and bird-watching tours given periodically
during their stay here. Of course they can sign up for these upon arrival! A golf pro is available to give golf lessons
if so desired. Although there is not a tennis pro on-site, there are plenty of tennis balls available at all times. Should your pup make it known to you by barking in his WiW (Wireless Woofer) of
any other special needs while boarding here, please feel free to let us know or just have him/her bark a few
times while here and our staff will take every measure to be accommodating as quickly as possible. to WE ALSO SELL NATURAL DOG
